THE μVID SYSTEM

A new way to see
lab-on-a-disc.

μVID uses a co-rotating camera to view a microfluidic disc through a stationary overhead reflector. This keeps the disc’s features spatially fixed in the image during rotation.

  1. 01

    Imaging

Observe microfluidic features while the disc rotates.

  2. 02

    Computation

All computation happens on board the device, from image processing to assay analysis.

  3. 03

    Analysis

Turn captured images into quantitative measurements for microfluidic assays.
